Privacy policy
Effective date: 24 October 2026
Jarvis Command Centre V5 (“Jarvis”) is a privately operated Windows automation project. This policy describes its current Gmail notification integration and associated information handling. It is not offered as a public customer service.
Information used
To send monitoring notifications, Jarvis uses the Google account that the operator authorizes, the configured sender and recipient email addresses, locally generated website-monitoring status records, and Google OAuth credentials needed for Gmail API access.
Google permissions and purpose
Jarvis requests https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.send solely to send operational notifications, such as website-down and recovery alerts and operator-initiated test messages. This scope does not authorize reading inbox messages, contacts, or other Google Drive data.
Storage and processing
The current Windows implementation stores OAuth authorization files, alert configuration, monitoring logs, and alert state locally on the operator's computer. Alert messages are transmitted through Google's Gmail API and handled by Google and the recipient's email provider under their respective policies. The application does not intentionally sell Google user data or use it for advertising.
This public information website is intended to be hosted on Cloudflare Pages. As a hosting provider, Cloudflare may process ordinary web-request metadata such as IP addresses and request logs under its own privacy practices. This website does not include an application login, analytics script, or contact form in the prepared version.
Sharing
Information is shared with Google as needed to authorize Gmail sending and deliver emails, with email recipients selected in the local configuration, and with infrastructure providers as necessary to serve this website. No other sharing is intentionally implemented in the prepared application.
Retention and security
Local configuration, credentials, monitoring logs, and alert-state files remain on the operator's device until removed or rotated by the operator. The current application does not enforce a published automatic deletion period. Access to these files depends on the security of the Windows user account and device. OAuth tokens are sensitive and should not be uploaded to this website or shared publicly.
Control and revocation
The operator may stop the local scheduled tasks, delete local authorization and monitoring files, or revoke Jarvis's Google access through the Google Account's third-party connections/security controls. Revoking authorization prevents further Gmail API sends until authorization is granted again.
Changes
This policy will be updated if the application begins using additional Google permissions, moves credentials or monitoring records to cloud infrastructure, or changes how information is processed.
